Dr. Waters at Kentfield Hospital where Lizzie had been transferred to from Stanford at the end of January announced Lizzie was awake from her coma. Hm…..we thought wow, Hollywood certainly misled us to what that means. For a while now Lizzie had been responding to my voice by raising her eyebrows. Every day I’d talked to her off and on and ask her to raise her eyebrows if she heard me. She would. I would tell the doctors and therapist that she was doing this but they didn’t believe us. They said, “if she is doing it we’ll see it. Somehow they saw and and officially pronounced, “she’s awake”!!!
